As children bring their broken toys

As children bring their broken toys
With tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God
Because he was my friend

But then, instead of leaving Him
In peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
In ways that were my own.

At last, I snatched them back and cried,
"How can you be so slow?"
My child, he said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."

A friend once gave me this poem. He was telling me that I should quit trying to do everything alone and in my own way. He was telling me that I should trust God and live life His way.

That's easily said, but not so easily done sometimes.

I like your poems. It does make since that we have more trust in God. We need Him always

Your friend gave you good advice.

I need to trust in the Lord more.
