I had a day from hades today. I hate ending the day feeling like I'm tired and old. It was a long day and every time I started to work, one of the phones would ring. I just had two weeks of vacation and it feels like so long ago I can't remember.
I can't believe that after a day like that, I'm back at the computer blogging. I think I have an addiction to silicone!

Are you eligible for retirement? It seems that the threshold for retirement just keeps creeping up in age.
There is only one thing that keeps me from retiring -- money.
Computers are a great tool, but a terrible job.
I'm eligible, but I need to get some of my finances taken care of before I can retire. I think I am probably looking at 3 to 4 years more.
I hope today is better for you. It would be nice for you if you could retire now, but life is like that. We do what we have to to keep ahead of things. Life goes on even after retirement. Some days are better than others. I'm sure you are glad to have a job in the world as it is today. I still do some sewing and I clean a house for a friend about once a month. It is good to make a little extra money occasionally. This too will pass. Mom
Today was a better day. I got a lot done, and my co-worker will be back from vacation on Monday. I'll be working this weekend, but there is light at the end of the tunnell.
Yes, retirement is looking very inviting to Don as well. I hope he last the next four years first. Those finances sure can hold a person down! If he can last until he is 66 we will be better off in our minds. Then will come.... whose to say!
